Guardiola has not set a timeframe for De Bruyne’s return after he suffered a groin injury last month. While Walker is also sidelined with a knee problem.

Both will miss the home game against the Czech club, along with Rodri Hernandez and Oscar Bobb.

“We are OK, except for Rodri and Oscar, you know. The others are training and getting better. Some are not fully fit yet, like Kevin.” the Spaniard said.

When asked by reporters whether De Bruyne would be out for a while, the 53-year-old replied: “Yes.”

“It’s not a big problem, he’s not feeling well and Kevin is not 22. He has to be fit for his football and he has to be fully fit.”

“He’s not feeling fully fit yet, so he’s not been able to reach his full potential. He’s been training a little bit better. But he’s not feeling ready yet. He told me he wasn’t feeling well. So I told him to take it slow.”

“He has to be ready.”
